Ultimate Potatoe Soup

Ingredients

  • 8 cups diced potatoes (we use red ones softened quicker)
  • 5 stalks celery, diced
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 cans chicken broth
  • 4 cups half-and-half cream
  • 2 cups milk (you might add more it depends on the thickness you want)
  • 10 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 4 cubes chicken bouillon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 lb bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 1/3 cup chopped basil
  • 1/3 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 clove minced garlic

Directions

  1. In a large pot, bring potatoes, celery and onion to a boil in 2 cups of broth.  Stir until thickened and potatoes softened then add other ingredients. Heat through and serve.
MIND YOU I tried to follow my husband around in kitchen while he made this so I might be off a little here and there since he doesn't measure everything.

Calazone


Ingrediants
1 lb italian sausage
6oz. pepperoni
4 T. onion chopped
1/2t. basil
1/2t. oregano
1/2cup pizza sauce
2cup mozerella or blended cheese
1 frozen rhodes loaf bread

Directions
1. Set out rhodes frozen loaf bread to rise at room temperature: 6hrs in a sprayed pan covered with pam sprayed cerenrap
2. Brown sausage
3. Roll out bread to about 22in by 16in rectangle on pam sprayed surface
4. Spread pizza sauce leaving a 1inch space from edges
5. Spread out toppings in this order: pepperoni, sausage, onions, chesse
6. fold the longer side over toppings and connect it with the adjast side (you might need to pinch close)
7. Slice small slits along top for venting
8.  Bake 350degress for 30-35min ENJOY


*you can alter the ingrediants to your liking by adding mushrooms or greenpeppers
